The Design Process

Oh Busy Weaver crafts websites that are intelligent, functional, and reflect our client’s uniqueness. We enjoy a collaborative process with our clients - our sites are built with your input and participation.

We offer free consultations - in person or over the phone. This consultation helps us learn about your project. During this meeting we assess the functionality you require in your website and the aesthetics that appeal to you. We discuss the level of involvement you desire from us in writing the copy for the website and creating branding for your site.

After the consultation, we prepare a detailed bid, so you know what the project includes, what the cost will be, and how long it will take to complete. We are famous for coming in at (and sometimes under!) our original bid.

Next we begin designing your new website. As the site progresses, we ask for your feedback, making changes as needed, and refining the site to fit the wished-for look, feel and functionality.  While we design & develop, you gather photos and write text for your site (unless you prefer that we do this for you).

After we are all satisfied with the site, we begin testing on multiple platforms, to ensure that all your customers have a positive and predictable experience when navigating your site.

We offer 1 hour training sessions, before or after the launch, to teach our clients how to maintain and update their own websites, if desired. Additionally, we supply an easy-to-use guide, to help you remember how to make specific changes, and we are happy to answer any questions that come up down the road.
